Founded by designer Bronwyn Lowenthal in 2002, Lowie is a South London sustainable womenswear label built from a love for traditional handicraft techniques, heritage elements, and an unwavering appreciation for the environment. Bronwyn was raised on the Australian island of Tasmania which sits at the confluence of the South Pacific and Indian Oceans. Much of her childhood was spent exploring and learning about the planet and the ways we can protect it. As a brand, Lowie tries to be as ethical and sustainable as possible, we seek sustainably made fabrics, manufacture with low energy consumption, and work with manufacturers we trust and who pay their workers fairly.
